PBGVs
We've been involved in breeding and showing PBGVs since 1986. Hootwire Petits have been shown in the United States and before AKC recognition in Mexico and Canada where Championships were earned. Several of our PBGVs earned Obedience titles in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
Ch. Belray Sirhan Braconnier, aka 'Poacher' earned several Bests at rare breed shows before AKC recognition and was the first Petit to earn and AKC title, Companion Dog.
Our foundation bitch, Ch. Lacebark's Lydia was Best of Breed at the Regional show during the National Specialty the year before AKC recognition. The judge at that show was a breeder-judge from Denmark. Lydia has produced many champions, one, Ch.Hootwire's Class Act at Lacebark took Best of Opposite at Westminister the same show where Lydia received first Award of Merit.
Debbie is past president of the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen Club of America and Shirley is a past secretary of the same organization.
